Writing is therapy for Freya, and through her stories she hopes to share a little bit of what it has given her: hope. It was only meant to be a one time thing, however she learned that she had more to say and her passion was born. That first book came out in August that same year.

She began writing in January of 2014 without any idea of what would follow. Exactly like she will do when she is reading something, except she is able to control what happens, more or less. With her kids all grown up and out in the world, she has poured her creative energy into spinning one story after the next with a neverending supply of dented and bruised characters, all vying for attention.įreya’s favorite part of writing is vanishing into the story.
